This award was bestowed upon us for managing our People, Planet(Earth) and Profits in a balanced manner which ensures long term sustainability of business. Mahindra Swaraj was monitoring performance of all Suppliers on many parameters and Gilard was the only Supplier who received this award since 2017.
Gilard received this award for "Excellence in Delivery". We had delivered all supplies hundred percent on time throughout the year. Delivery to all our OEMs is always greater than 90 percent.

Gilard received this felicitation from the Government of India & the Quality Council of India on Jan 2019. Gilard is the first Automotive company and the first company in Punjab to have received Diamond category in ZED. ZED is an extensive drive of the Government of India with the objective of spreading awareness in MSMEs about Zero Defect and Zero Effect manufacturing. The MSMEs are assessed for this certification by the Quality Council of India and are rated in category Brass/ Silver/ Gold/ Diamond/ Platinum or none. Besides practices of Zero Defect (in Production) & Zero Effect (on the Environment) in manufacturing processes, the scheme focuses on Continuous Improvement and supporting the "Make in India" initiative of the government.
Awarded on 5th December 2019 At the 'Progressive Punjab Investors Summit-2019' event at ISB, Mohali the Chief Minister of Punjab, Capt. Amrinder Singh and Shri Sunder Sham Arora, Minister for Industries & Commerce Punjab. Gilard was honoured with the State MSME award along with a cash reward by the Punjab Government. The Punjab Government conferred the Punjab State MSME Awards 2019 to the outstanding MSMEs who registered tremendous business growth in investment, employment generation, turnover/ sales, energy efficiency, exports, employee's welfare etc. for the financial years 2016-17 to 2018-19 and displayed excellence in product quality.
Awarded On: 26 March, 2019 Gilard Electronics won the 2nd prize in the First 5S Competition by ACMA Northern Region. Mr. Deepak Chopra, Chairman, Northern Region, ACMA and Mr. Sanjiv Paul, Senior Vice President, India Yamaha Motor presented the award to the winning team.

Gilard's Theatre Group focuses on the company's CSR activities. A play named "Parchhaiyan" highlighting the atrocities on women in our societ was launched on 14th Feb, 2013, to join the international Call for Women around the World,"One Billion Rising" on Valentine's Day in 2013. The play was conceived and directed by a woman at Director level of the company and all the actors were women employees of the company. It covered many issues like eve-teasing, rape, dowry deaths, female foeticide etc. The play was taken as a CSR activity of Gilard for one year Feb 2013 till March 2014 and many performances were done during this period.
